Galaxy S8 Reserves The Largest Number Of Pre-order Ever

Samsung Electronics’ smartphone Galaxy S8 series subscription volume is the highest in the market.

Phone Arena and TechCrunch, Samsung Electronics America Corporation announced on April 24 that pre-orders of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus increased by 30% compared to Galaxy S7 series.

“We have tried to innovate not only the products and services but also the process itself,” said Tim Baxter, president of Samsung Electronics America. “Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are the results of this effort, “He said.

Phone Arena reported that the Galaxy S8 increased its pre-order volume, saying, “it shows that customers are willing to accept if learn lessons from previous product failures and showcase powerful new products.”

In fact, Samsung has made great efforts to enhance safety after the Galaxy Note 7 incident. In particular, Samsung introduced an ‘8-point battery safety check’ earlier this year to prevent recurrence of battery fires. The test includes eight safety tests including battery safety, battery appearance, battery disassembly, charging and discharging, and user condition acceleration tests.

“Samsung has made an 8-point battery safety check to improve product reliability,” Phone Arena reported. “With this amazing design, Galaxy Note 7 has been forgotten and it has achieved a new booking record on Thursday night.”

CNBC, on the other hand, said that despite the initial sales fire of the Galaxy S8, it needs to be watched more closely to determine its success.

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been evaluated as successful in design and interface innovation. In particular, it was highly rated for maximizing screen size by getting rid of the bezel as much as possible and for providing the user-customized interface for the first time supporting the intelligent interface Bixby.

However, immediately after the opening of the device, the display of reddish liquid was disputed. Samsung Electronics is expected to release software updates this week.

The Galaxy S8 was first launched in Korea, the United States, and Canada on April 21. Starting on the 28th, it will start selling in 50 countries including Europe, Singapore, and Hong Kong. It will be launched in 120 countries sequentially after May.
